The city of Korscam is still reeling from the brutal terrorist attack that saw thousands dead, fear rules the streets and the protectors of the city seem unable to stamp out the remaining cultists spread throughout the ruins. Paulie and his friends are being targeted by forces embedded in the very system that he thought was there to protect him. Betrayal and sabotage lurk on all sides as he is battered and bruised by a world that consistently seems to want him dead and forgotten. But he is not alone in these trials, far from it.
