Carmen Biggs and Patrick Feely can't stand each other.

She says he's too obnoxious. He says she's too much of a bitch.

Put these two in a room together and one of them isn't making it out alive.

That is until the day of the twins' birthday. October 31st.

Patrick doesn't want to get drunk. Carmen wants to get drunk enough to solve all of her problems.

So when he sees her on the brink of passing out and sees Hughie isn't doing anything about it, he catches her and takes her up to her room.

From that day, something shifts between them. Shared glances in the corridor between classes at school. Fingers brushing at lunch. Finding each other in the music room after school even though she claims to hate music.

They start dating each other in secret. Sneaking out to see each other. Acting like they hate each other at friend group meet ups when she was really underneath him the night before.

He becomes her reason to live.

She becomes his reason to stay.

And the best part? Hughie doesn't know.

But every good relationship has to crash and burn at some point, right?
