Sharing Our Pains

Sven and Mira have been in a relationship together for about three months. Then one night, Mira had a nasty panic attack. The panic attack led to both Sven and Mira sharing their very dark traumatic pasts with each other, which neither of them truly recovered from. The journey of healing they're about to take will take them on many different paths, smooth and rough.

This is an incredibly important heads up. This is a very dark backstory, which covers the trauma of two characters (and the trauma of other characters, but it's mainly centred around the traumas Sven and Mira have). So, I need to give some notes to warn everyone what to expect if they want to read the story.

Note 1: Trigger Warnings. This story doesn't showcase these scenes directly (except maybe for flashbacks). While some scenes aren't described in full detail, some still are. Either way, they may still be triggering for some. Sharing Our Pains mentions topics such as:

- Violence (revenge, mutilation, gore)
- Abuse
- Ideological trauma
- Political trauma
- Cultural trauma
- Exposure to the presence or smell of drugs
- Rape + attempted rape
- Sexual assault + attempted sexual assault
- Social isolation
- Suicidal ideation
- Self blaming
- Mentions and references to victim blaming
- Destructive/unhealthy coping mechanisms (like not being authentic about one's self, isolation, disassociation, turning to malevolent forces for healing, seeking control through destructive means like vengeance, substance abuse, and so on).
- Attempted suicide
- Vivid imagery of emotions
- PSTD + CPTSD (and other conditions etc)
- (And I may have forgotten some other things to list here).

These topics are very distressing, especially for those who have been through any of the listed things above. If the list here is too much, I highly recommend you don't read this story.
