Jasper didn't always used to be this way, when the mines where still active the town was booming everyone was friendly and no one judged what side of the train tracks you lived on. An explosion two years ago closed the mines for good, and everyone split into two sides, the west and the east. The west lost nothing and well the east, we lost everything some more than others.
17-year-old Juliet Thorn lives on the east side of Jasper, the last two years she has had to fight to stay alive. What happens when the biggest fight of her career could start a war with the town and her heart.
This is her story, her fight, her heart. Will she survive and finally get out or will she fail and be stuck.
