It all started when a large ball of sun flare hit the Earth that heated up the surface burning cities, billions of lives lost.

The heat took over all the places near the equator so people fled towards the northern and southern part of the earth hoping to escape the Scorch.

Another tragedy came when a deadly virus infected the people, out of the half of the remaining population, only a few survived. It was called the Flare. The Flare is a virus that eats your brain cells, making you insane, inhuman, taking away your humanity, turning you to a wild animal. Not only changes your mental state but also your physical appearance. It spreads fast by blood contamination, airbourne or any physical contact with infected.

In order to find a cure, save humanity and the Earth, the remaining governments from different countries created an organization, World in Catastrophe: Killzone Experiment Department. WICKED took the infected placing them in the Scorch. They made a program sending special teens to trials studying their brain activities, making a blueprint to create a cure.

A few years later, A girl wakes up at a deserted WICKED facility. Innocent from the world outside, Her first witness of the infected was very memorable. Scared and Curious, she made her way out to a journey she'd never want to miss.
