(Before reading: This story contains references to 18+ scenes, but nothing major comes till chapter 6-7) Seo Joon-woo has always preferred silence. Books over parties. Photography over people. Distance over attention. In a school where everyone seems obsessed with late nights, loud music, and reckless choices, Joon-woo stays in his own world-quiet, careful, and unnoticed. His small group of friends is enough for him... even if they keep insisting he should want something more. Someone more. Then there's Han Seo-joon. A year above. Loud where Joon-woo is silent. Confident where Joon-woo hesitates. The kind of boy people can't help but look at-the kind of boy Joon-woo avoids at all costs. But what no one knows... is that Seo-joon has already been looking. Watching. Waiting. And when a school trip forces everyone to partner up with someone they've never spoken to before, Joon-woo's carefully built routine begins to unravel. Because somehow- he ends up with him. Thrown into Seo-joon's world of teasing smiles and unreadable intentions, Joon-woo finds himself caught between nerves, curiosity... and a feeling he doesn't quite understand. Because maybe Seo-joon isn't just a distraction. Maybe he's the reason everything is about to change. And maybe... he's been waiting for Joon-woo all along.

Valeria didn't rush. She never did. Inez was pinned beneath her, wrist locked overhead, the hold precise and impersonal. Not pain. Control. Inez scoffed anyway. "That's it?" she sneered. "I've had tutors scarier than you." Valeria said nothing. The silence pressed in. "You don't scare me," Inez added, louder. Brattier. "You just-" "Enough." One word. Flat. Final. Valeria lifted Inez's chin with two fingers, detached as a correction. "Look at me," she said coolly. "If you're going to embarrass yourself, do it properly." Inez laughed, brittle. "You think this makes you powerful?" "I don't think," Valeria replied. "I decide." Her gaze never wavered. "You provoke because it's the last control you have." "I don't belong to you," Inez snapped. Valeria leaned in, voice razor-thin. "You are my wife. You belong to consequences." She released her grip. "Say it." "No." Valeria waited. The quiet broke Inez, she hated being ignored. "...I'll behave, I'll be a good girl" Inez muttered. "Specify." Inez swallowed hard. "...I'll be your good girl" Valeria stepped back, already distant. "Good," she said. "Remember why." #1 older women-13th February (FAST PACE BOOK)
