Aadhya Ravichandiran, the famous playback singer had gotten a serious death threat from her hater. So her father Ravichandiran had appointed a bodyguard to protect her.

It's none other than our hero Vetrimaran Kumaravel, the ACP of Trichy. He got suspended for six months due to an incident so Ravichandiran had asked for his help.

Due to the request from his father's best friend himself, Vetri is unable to decline it. Thus he was appointed as a bodyguard to Aadhya for the time being.

Vetrimaran's father Kumaravel and Aadhya's father Ravichandiran were childhood best friends which made Vetrimaran and Aadhya to become childhood frenemies.

They aren't quite friends or enemies as they get together all the time but also can be seen to be at each other's throat most of the time.

But due to their life's twist, their destiny had gotten entangled now. Eventhough their profession is quiet different, they still managed to get entangled professionally once again.
