The first time I stepped into the mansion, I should've turned around and left. Maybe then I wouldn't have Asher and Kian. Maybe then my life wouldn't have become a mess of illegal races, broken rules, and feelings I was never supposed to have. They own this country. The city. The university. The game. A brutal underground race where one Ring decides everything. One tagged driver. Thirty minutes. An entire city chasing you down. There are rules in this city. No one writes them down. But everyone follows them. Don't trust the police. Don't lose the Ring. And never fall for him. I wanted nothing to do with their world. Too bad their world wanted me anyway. Now I'm living in a house filled with dangerous boys, hidden rivalries, violent secrets, and tension sharp enough to cut skin. And somehow, the person I hate most keeps finding new ways to ruin me. Asher looks like the kind of guy who would hold the door for his girl, and recite her love poems. But sometimes, gentleness is the most dangerous thing. Kian is arrogant, reckless, and impossible to ignore. The kind of boy who smiles while making bad decisions. The kind of boy girls regret too late. And unfortunately for me, hating Kain, and loving Asher is becoming harder than surviving the game itself. And it was too late when I realised, the game wasn't just cars. It was about me, too. Not from the start, but from the end. And some ends are just beginnings.

Blinking groggily, she slowly became aware of the arm draped around her waist, the steady rise and fall of a chest beneath her cheek. Her breath caught in her throat. Her eyes snapped open. And there he was. Her one and only husband, Sleeping. With her in his arms. Her body went rigid. How did this happen? She vaguely remembered the events of last night-the dinner, the drinks, her confession... Her confession. Lia's eyes widened in horror. Did she really say all that? Before she could move away, he stirred beneath her. His grip on her waist tightened slightly, as if instinctively pulling her closer. Lia held her breath. His lashes fluttered, and then, those dark eyes met hers. For a moment, neither of them spoke. Then, a slow, teasing smirk curved his lips. "Good morning, wife."
