Just a short story I wrote for my first 8th grade English assignment of 2014, based upon "The Monkey's Paw" by W.W. Jacobs.
Herbert White finds himself trapped between the life he once had, or life in the dead. After his mother wishes her son's return, Herbert, his life, the paw, and his family, spiral into a light they never once imagined, and leaving each other heartbroken.

It started off as a normal school day until you see this kid on the side of the road saying he lost his dog in the woods and your kind hearted self went with the boy so find the dog. Based off of the short story I wrote called Bloody Sympathy. Holds similarities but a lot of it is changed or made more subtle since that was old writing and I find the intense sudden angst very cringe worthy but people wanted a full story and I like the original path the story was taking so i'm trying it out. Taekwoon lost his Mother at 15. His Father became distant and he took to school. He put all of his pain into studying and getting the grades he knew his Mother would have wanted him to have. Fighting his way to the top of the class Taekwoon graduated High School with a full paid scholarship to multiple universities. Taekwoon knew he wanted to be a doctor and saves lives. The issue was, he was terrified of needles. What is to come when he is the only one who can save a woman's life but has to face his fear to do so?Complete
Pretty Lost (Completed)
I'm doing a story based on these three words. Perfect. Stuck. Lost. My friend is also doing this challenge so i hope you enjoy this story! And don't worry i'll still work on my other story!! This story is about a boy who wants to do things the way his home used to live like. . . will he see the flaws in others and judge them or learn to be understanding of others? Read to find out. It is my first few books so this may suck but I'll get better. Super cringe so just switch to one of my other books. Probs won't finish book two of this, if I'm being honest, this wasn't the best. Might rewrite it one day. (Looking back, I was on some sort of drugs cause what was I thinking? I'm surprised people can even find this garbage fire.)Complete
