Static on the line

In an alternate timeline where the 1995 court case ends in a hung jury, Kate and Jeanette find themselves the twin pariahs of Skylin. While the world debates who is the victim and who is the villain, the two girls find themselves drawn to the same abandoned spots in town, realizing that no one else can speak the language of their shared trauma. Hate turns into an obsessive curiosity, and curiosity turns into something far more dangerous.
