"I know this is not what you expect me to say."

"Uh-huh." He boringly replied.

"And you are under no obligation to say it back."

"Yeah. Yeah." Still bored.

"Oh screw it!" I exasperated. "Forget I said anything."

But before I stepped out of that very room, I heard him say: "I love you too."

I stared at him with awe, he still looks emotionless as if not realizing how big deal it was.

"Why are you still standing there?" He impatiently called. "Get back here and let me love you!"
