Swimming Towards You...

A history student, Lee Seo-yeon, becomes obsessed with a forgotten case to complete her History Thesis about Seven Korean students who, in 1896, fled Japan and crossed the Pacific to study in America, only to disappear from historical records without a trace.
Drawn by the unanswered questions, she retraces their journey, departing from Yokohama toward Vancouver, following the same route they once took.
As the ship cuts through the dark Pacific, she finds herself haunted not by facts, but by fragments-old accounts, missing names, and the quiet sorrow of Arirang, a song once carried across oceans by those who left home behind.
One night, beneath a sky full of unfamiliar stars, she sees it-
A distant vessel.
Too large.
Too still.
Its silhouette unmistakably out of time.
No signal appears on radar.
No one else seems certain it was ever there.
Yet, as it fades into the mist, she could have sworn she heard something carried across the water-
A song she already knew.
