Rose Spade has spent her entire life with one best friend and one best friend only: her brother, Cedric Diggory. But when Cedric is tragically murdered by none other than Lord Voldemort, Rose is left depressed and alone. She loses hope in the world and goes back to Hogwarts for her fifth year, heartbroken. Rather suddenly, the most unlikely friend comes along when Rose's depression causes her to fall behind in her classes. Professor Dumbledore insists that to keep up with her classes, she must be tutored. Unluckily for her, the tutor he picks out for her is none other than Draco Malfoy, the notorious bully and upcoming Death Eater.
Rose dreads it at the beginning, but as time passes, she realizes that the Malfoy heir may not be as bad as he seems. To her unwilling surprise, she finds a friend in him.
