John was a young man in the prime of his life who had just recently finished his stint in the service and was looking forward to taking full advantage of the much needed break from military life to indulge in his hobbies some of which he had to shelve for years. Unfortunately for John, the world had other plans for him. So although he got to play a few games with his buddies and reach a new personal record in the gym on his initial return, this enjoyable and peaceful break wouldn't last long because after a single exciting fun filled night with the boys on Left 4 Dead, he found himself being unceremoniously ripped from his home and thrown into a world filled to the brim with walking undead and on the fast track to ruin.

The MC is above average in terms of physical abilities, pretty intelligent, and ruthless right from the get-go. If that's not something you like, I suggest finding something else to read since there are plenty of works with passive MCs that get stomped on a regular basis but somehow survive like an immortal cockroach. Also, this is a multiverse story, so we'll be venturing into other worlds of the zombie and infection variety besides Left 4 Dead. Just don't expect it to happen anytime soon since I write multiple webnovels at the same time and work full-time plus overtime.
