Wealthy, powerful and living the dream, Elman, going by the stage name TheMan, is one of the most famous rappers in his small, homophobic country.

What nobody know is that he and his costar Abdulah have been in a secret relationship for over a decade, an affair they are both addicted to and terrified of being discovered.

When Abdulah gets engaged to his longterm Beard and threatens to break up the affair, Elman, in a spiral of depression and self hatred, reaches out to his first love Mirza, who is now an out and proud LGBT activist.

Under the pressure to perform and make music that he hates, Elman has to chose between the life of secrets and wealth with Abdulah or an authentic existence with Mirza.
