My Lady, My Lord (Herobrine x Reader)

When rebels overthrow his kingdom and condemn him to death, King Herobrine Alaric of Gridlast is sure that it will only be a matter of days before he meets his end. Just before his execution, however, he is rescued by none other than his most trusted bodyguard- Y/N Ward, who whisks him away to a temporary safety. Amid the threat of pursuers, Herobrine struggles with his growing feelings for her, ones that she refuses to reciprocate until both of them are far away from harm.

The struggle for power aside, both factions remain unaware of a power growing to the north- one that will require them to put aside their differences if they are to have any hope of defeating it.
