Melanie Vance is the girl who has it all: the talent, the grades, and a smile that lights up the halls of Westview High. But behind the perfect pirouettes and the "Golden Girl" reputation lies a secret that is slowly consuming her from the inside out. Elijah Thorne is the boy everyone wants, but no one knows. As the star quarterback with a reputation for being a cold-hearted playboy, he's mastered the art of keeping the world at a distance. He hates anything that isn't real. And to him, Melanie Vance is the fakest girl in school. One is starving for perfection. The other is drowning in the past. When their two worlds collide, the masks they've spent years building begin to shatter. But can you love someone when you haven't even learned how to save yourself?

SEQUEL TO EVOLVE Things were getting better. Well, things were seeming to get better. Relationships were thriving, med school decisions were pending, and Gabi and Luke were getting used to a somewhat normal life again. Things were slightly different. Having the frequent company of Sierra was confusing for Gabi, and knowing what the boundaries were was still confusing for them both. Honestly, it could be kind of frustrating for the three of them to figure out the family dynamic. However they had to make it work, and with plenty of time on their hands it seemed like it could be figured out. But of course, family was never that easy. Especially not when history has a habit of repeating itself.
