December "Dess" Holiday was killed by a gunshot to the head and came back to life after meeting a mysterious entity. She decides to start a new life by traveling to Los Angeles.
She then meets a group of isolated citizens led by a someone who was wrongly accused for a murder they did not commit.
In a nice and simple way of describing this story, this is going to be a wild ride.
