The Red String Theory (Remus Lupin x Sirius Black's sister)

When two souls are destined to be together, They're connected by an invisible thread. No matter the time, place or situation. This thread may stretch and tangle but it will never break.
-Japanese legend

I dared a glance to my left, when she noticed me staring she tilted her head up, those blue eyes gazing up into mine for a brief moment before I averted my gaze. The memory of her eyes permanently burned into my brain, reminding me of the ocean, but the deepest part of it, where you can drown without noticing until it's too late and you've already sunk too deep to save yourself. I wanted to drink in those eyes until my lungs collapsed and filled themselves with water, until I was surrounded by nothing else except for that particular shade of fairest blue. I wanted the last thing I felt to be the extasy of being high on her, the last thing I saw to be those particular eyes boring into mine.
-Remus Lupin

In the end, are fools not those who dared to feel, and never regretted it looking back?

I own no characters except my own. All credits go to the amazing J.K Rowling.
