Brownie

"Is that so?" she whispered softly.

"It is." I whispered back, lightly placing my hands on her waist. She raised her arms to place them on my shoulders before stopping mid-air. It was as if the look in her eyes had cracked, and she had snapped back to reality. She placed her hands on my chest and gently shoved me away.

Ugh! I knew this time would come, but why so soon?

"Stop." she mumbled. I sighed and rubbed my eyes with three fingers before looking down at her.

"Okay. Fine. I'll say it. Will you -"

"Ah-ah-ah." she stopped me, an index finger raised into the air.

"There is absolutely no way you're asking me that in a setting like this." she said, placing her hands on her hips again. I looked down at her and felt a smile make its way onto my face before I let it take over.

"Oh I am definitely asking you in a setting like this." I said with a boyish giggle before I picked her up by the waist and twirled her around.

Her name is Bronwen Xylo. A bit hard to pronounce. Probably why he calls her Brownie.

She's a new girl and it's sophomore year. Pretty interesting for someone who looks so bland. The fact that she caught his eye is a huge privilege in and of itself. Although she's caught somebody else's eye. He started off as a bully to her, but he slowly starts falling for her. Falling into madness, actually. But she doesn't like him. She doesn't like Isaac. She might like Nathan. Might, and Isaac is NOT happy.

He's jealous to the point where he would keep her to himself and fight with Isaac in the most absurd way known to man.

This book has a bit of gore and also strong language. It doesn't have overly sexual content so dw abt that, but it has parts that could be slightly triggering to some people, I will put pre-warnings around that.
