Too close

Murders don't usually happen the same way, in the same place, months apart.
But in this town, they do.
When a young journalist is assigned to investigate a string of strange murders that keep circling back to the same location, what begins as a simple article quickly turns into an obsession. The deeper she digs, the more the details refuse to line up.
Then one night, she gets too close.
After finding a witness dead in his own home and returning to her apartment, she notices something chilling.
Papers have been moved. Files missing. Someone had been inside. And whoever it was left her with only a few words:
"You're too close..."
Now every step she takes feels watched. Every lead feels like a trap. But the most terrifying part isn't the murders.
It's the feeling that the killer isn't trying to stop her.
He's playing with her.
And the closer she gets to the truth, the more she realizes that she may not be chasing the story anymore...
The story may be chasing her. and maybe she wants it too.

(Ps this is my first time writing and I'm not 100% on what I'm doing! The cover might change and things might change around? But I'm trying to make this the best I can! The story isn't done yet and I'm not sure were it's leading!)
