The Sin of Humanity was thinking that immortality was a blessing from the death of god. The year is 1981 and humanity is on the brink of collapse... With the disappearance of the A.R.K and communications severed with heaven, humanity was left to survive with the consequences of its own hubris. Overpopulation and the aftermath of flaying God and his angelic army ignited resource wars that ravaged the population, quelling many but not enough to stop the catastrophe. In their desperation, humanity had created a solution, The Marked Lottery and the A.S.H Fields-- a simple solution to a complex problem. Those who were selected in the lottery would soon find themselves arriving to the A.S.H fields to fulfill their duty for mankind, one last time. Such is the fate of Akane, a sixteen year old aspiring mangaka who has been marked. Follow her and her sister as they spend her final days together, enjoying what little time is left.
