Lucian Steele built his world on control. No mistakes. No distractions. No attachments. Then Amara walked into his office. She doesn't fear him. She doesn't obey him blindly. And worst of all... she makes him notice her. Working for the most powerful billionaire in the city was supposed to be simple. Follow the rules. Keep your distance. Survive. But when tension grows behind glass walls and silence starts to feel dangerous, both of them realize something is changing. Because sometimes the strongest men don't fall loudly. They fall quietly. And sometimes... the woman they never planned to need becomes their soft ruin. He controls everything. Except the woman who refuses to be controlled.u

The brain

🧠 The human mind is truly the scariest thing of all. It is possible for the human mind to love someone and hate them at the same time. If we overthink a little the mind create negative scenarios and or replay painful memories. In some situations, the brain takes a choice 11 seconds before you do it yourself. A sleeping human brain can still understand the words being spoken around it. Psychologically, damaged people tend to be strongest because they know they can survive anything. Pain strengthens the mind. And the most terrifying question is how much horror the human mind can stand and still maintain a wakeful, unrelenting sanity. But, reality exists in the human mind. My brain has no heart, and my heart has no brain. That's why when I speak my mind, I appear heartless and when I do what's in my heart i seem thoughtless.
