Pete left the country the next day he learned the devastating truth about his mother Claudia and cut all his ties with everyone. Never once in the last 6 years he answered his father's calls nor his sister's constant texts.

Pete made an exception though, it's his best friend kao, who anchored him in his teen years and continued to do so in the last 6 years.

Kao didn't know where Pete planned to go. It can be anywhere and kao would willingly go with Pete leaving his family.

Pete also knew that Kao would blindly follow him to the end of the world. But he is yet to wrap his head around the fact that Kao didn't tell him the truth and kept him in dark in their 3 years of marriage.

Now, after 6 years, Pete is kneeling before his mother and begging her to give him his son.

Pete is at a crossroads now, to get his son Pran out of his mother's hands is one problem. But to make Pran reconcile with him and his other children are entirely another problem to which Pete knows no solution.
