Elena Ward is a skilled communications and operations agent stationed at the Triskelion-and the wife of fellow S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Grant Ward. The two met at the Academy, building a life together in the shadows of a world built on secrets.

When Grant is assigned to Coulson's team aboard the Bus, Elena remains behind-until an opportunity arises.
