You and Leon are two survivors of Raccoon City who somehow ended up stuck with the exact same fate: working for USSTRATCOM. For six years, you were never close, just two people who knew of each other and kept a respectful distance. After a failed bioweapon recovery, that distance gets ripped away and you're suddenly in each other's space. Both on the job and off, you end up seeing the parts that were always hidden behind the veil... WARNING: This story will contain sexual content, violence, mental health issues and explicit language. PLEASE READ: This story is mainly romantic comedy, slowburn not straight up smut). There will be language that may be distasteful but will be LIGHT (eg. fatphobia, homophobia, sexism etc) that does not reflect me or the characters I cannot stress this enough. I WILL NOT BE USING SLURS.

You don't really stop loving someone like Leon Kennedy. You just learn how to live in the space they left behind. A life once built on promises-future plans, quiet mornings, names for children neither of you ever got to say out loud-slowly collapsed under the weight of distance, danger, and a world that never stopped taking him away from you. He was always leaving. And you were always waiting. Until one day, waiting stopped feeling like love... and started feeling like survival. So you let him go. Seven years later, you still don't know if that was the right choice. But some people don't come back the same. And some never stopped looking for you.
