"I fed from Ace."

"What, is his soul not compatible with you or something? I've never seen this sort of reaction to feeding before." Courtney said as she went to go grab cleaning supplies from the bathroom.

I waited for Courtney to come back before I said, "No, that's not it. I dranked his blood."

Both girls froze.

"You what?!" Penny said shocked.

"I fed from Ace but it was his blood not his soul."

"How did you even manage to do something like that?" Courtney pulled me out of bed and started cleaning.

"It's a really long story, but just know that I got his permission. The whole thing was his idea."

"He knows about us?"

"Yes, I told him. I had to."

"Celine do you know what you've done? Hale is going to freak out, no, the whole supernatural court is going to lose their minds over this. You've put both you and Ace in danger now."

"That's only true if they find out. I'm not asking you to keep this a secret for me. I'd never ask you to risk your life like that, but I'm just saying that things can only get bad if word gets out."

"Of course we're going to keep your secret, but Celine, you've done something that can't be undone now."
