The reflection of the sun grazes her cheek, and the tickling of the grass waves over her back. Footsteps disturb the gravel near her. Peeking towards it, she finds Daryl hovering around, not to disturb her peaceful quiet, but to just silently observe.
"...What cha doing, Carson?" his voice, low and lazy, lay over her, spreading like the warmth of the sun.
Her eyes fix on his steady form, voice filling the open space with a soft sound.
"It's called relaxing, Dixon. You should try it out sometime," her lips form a small, sly smile. "Always so damn tense and expecting the worst! Maybe you should worry less about the apocalypse! The world's gone to shit, and walkers are everywhere, can't change that! So...might as well use the chance to relax because chances like this are slim to none!"
