"Saiyaan..."

Banaras ki subah ki tarah kuch kahaniyaan dheere shuru hoti hain-
bina shor ke, bina warning ke.

Shree Srivastava, class 11th-
an average student with a sharp hold on words and a heart that feels a little too much. She believes in stories, not in love. At least, not the kind that changes people.

Saarthak Shekhawat, class 12th-
the School Captain, disciplined, composed, and known for never crossing a line. For him, life is simple: rules, goals, and no distractions. Responsibility comes first-everything else later.

They study in the same school, walk the same corridors, exist in the same space-
but belong to completely different worlds.

What begins with unnoticed glances slowly turns into a quiet habit.
Not conversations. Not confessions. Just presence.

But the problem with almost-stories is-
they don't need a proper beginning to exist...
and sometimes, they don't get an ending either.

With board exams approaching and time slipping faster than expected,
Saarthak is moving towards a future he has already planned,
while Shree is still trying to understand what she feels.

Because some connections aren't loud,
they don't demand attention-
they just stay... silently, stubbornly.

She looks at him like:
"Hum unhe jaante nahi the... par unhe dekhna aadat ban gaya hai."

and how he looks at her :
"Woh meri nahi bhi hui...toh bhi main uska hi rahunga."

And maybe that's what makes them harder to forget.

Yeh pyaar nahi tha... ya shayad tha bhi.
Bas itna sa tha-ki dil ne ek baar "Saiyaan" kaha... aur phir kabhi wapas nahi liya.
