Eleanor is a girl who walks the shadows of school hallways, yet somehow she's never unnoticed-whether for good reasons or not. Her life was never easy, tangled in her family's turmoil all her life, and forced to endure crushing expectations.

Tatuski, a boy who lives in the spotlight, admired and envied equally. But somehow, all of his confidence, pride and ego are intricately crafted illusions concealing the same suffocating expectations as hers.

Eleanor and Tatsuki have been academic rivals since the start of high school, but as they approach the end of their high school years, stakes are higher, the weight of the future pressing down harder. And Eleanor starts to break again, slowly, silently, falling deep into a dark place, as she had no effort to make it out this time.

But when Tatsuki finally decides to step in, would it be too late?
