​I wasn't born with a silver spoon. My "luck" wasn't a gift; it was earned in the late hours of the night when I chose books over parties and study sessions over dates. To my family back home, I'm the girl who finally made it. To the elite students in Paris, I'm just another scholarship girl from Africa.
​I'm fine with that.

I didn't come to France to be famous or to fit in. I came to learn, to grow, and to bring a better future back to my community. My plan was to stay invisible, get my degree, and make an impact where it actually matters.
​But staying invisible is hard when you're the only one in the room who sees the world differently.
