Double Fudge (REWRITE)

A rewrite of my old Novel.

"I have a sweet tooth," he said, his voice a low, gravelly rasp that sent a shiver straight down my spine. "And I'm craving double fudge."

Kennedy is a one-woman army. She's fighting a family curse, a mounting debt, and the ghost of a grandmother who told her never to let a man tell her her dreams were too expensive to keep. But with a ten-month clock ticking and the neighborhood "shark" circling her front door, the fire in her kitchen is starting to feel like a death trap.

Vincent Cunningham doesn't do "small business." He does hostile takeovers. He's cold, devastatingly handsome, and has enough power to crush Kennedy's legacy with a single signature. He expects her to fold. He expects to buy her out and move on.

He doesn't expect the fire in her eyes-or the way her scent haunts him long after the "Open" sign flips.
