A girl named Janet is moving to a new town, with her older cousin Susan, to live a new life, to try and have another chance at life. She wants nothing more than to forget her past and be an normal girl, but that will be difficult for her strange rose-colored eyes. But, at school she meets a boy named Lancer who seems like he's happy, but he actually has more sadness that only Janet noticed. And that only makes her want to find out more about him.
But as they grow closer, she wants to be more than friends, but at the same time is worried about telling him the truth. But at the same time, Lancer doesn't want to tell her his past.
But, they somehow have to break each other' s layers of secrets.
