Imilaris in a largely unknown world with a small pantheon of young gods. Hoping to create their Utopia, they took humans and made them more than what they were previously. Magic, power, beauty, all the things people covet were granted to them from their gods. But there would always be someone wishing to have more. In their pursuit of greed, people built gates, some of which lead to laces that should not be visited. The Utopia build by gods gets invaded by demons and gods struggle to overcome their invasion. Their success is limited, confining the demons to the eastern part of their world. Twenty odd years ago, a Demon Lord rose up and once again upset the balance of the world. With another invasion, he conquered the world and eradicated the most magnificent race in the world and robbing their goddess of her people. Soon after, the Demon Lord is betrayed, his empire crumbling. The goddess is on the brink of death, the last princess of her people enslaved and abused and with no way to help her. Now, the princess gives birth to something new, a union of light of the gods and demonic scourge. A demon, strong and powerful, cruel and awesome. A greyskin.

In our world, there are two forces. One of darkness, and one of light. The forces of darkness dwell underground, in large caverns and ravines. The inhabitants of these spaces are demons, who are born of fear and anger, and thirst for it. These nightmarish creatures have one goal: slaughter the human race, and take over the world. Shoda Yuuto lived a peaceful life. He's what you call an Otaku and he was a major Otaku geek at that. His favorite type of anime and manga was fantasy. One day, Yuuto was walking in the city while looking at some updates of his anime and manga until he was hit by a truck. Yuuto thought he was done for and complained about missing out on new anime episodes and manga chapters. That is until he woke up in some kind of room. He thought that this was heaven until a Menu screen showed up in front of him. He was curious so he looked through the menu and saw that he was known as a Professional Magician or Magic user. He was excited because he found out that he was sent to another world. The only problem with that is when he saw all the magic spells he could use, he didn't find any combat magic spells like [Wind Cutter] or [Fireball]. He then found out that he was a pro at all magic spells except anything offensive. How will Yuuto live out his new life as a magic user when he can't use any offensive magic spells?

In the event of death, there is a 1:10,000 chance that you will reincarnate in a world not your own and Retain your Ego; that is, your memories and Mental Self. In that chance, there is a 1:10,000 chance that you will be given some sort of ability; the basic types are skills, or maybe talent, and these are called Classes, such as the famous 'Hero' to the infamous 'Maou' or 'Demon King'. Then, there's... well, then there's James. James is an idiot savant, essentially, and so, thinking it's a dream and that he'll wake up soon anyway, he chooses 'nothing'. He simply refuses to choose, and sits around in the Spirit Realm, meditating, for 100,000 years; in this way, he develops his own skills, instead of accepting one from the Gods. Now, there's no going back. After all, I didn't say his luck was 'Good' Luck, Did I?
