Chi Cheng was once a man defined by devotion. His wife had been the center of his world, and her death during pregnancy left him hollow. Grief consumed him, and in despair he sought escape in alcohol at a party. There he met Wu Suowei, an omega from a broken family. An accident occurred, and Wu became pregnant with Chi's child. Faced with this unexpected bond, both men struggled with grief, fear, and memories of the past. The question remained: could they overcome sorrow and begin anew, building a future together from brokenness

Wu suo wei has one goal: survive university, keep his scholarship, and graduate so he can give his mother the life she deserves. That means no distractions, no trouble, and definitely no involvement with people like Chi Cheng - the wealthy, chain-smoking bad boy who somehow got stuck with a private dorm room. But a mistake at the admin office changes everything. Forced to share the same space, Wu suo wei learns quickly that Chi Cheng doesn't let people close. He doesn't share, doesn't care, and definitely doesn't do favors. So why did he let Wei Wei stay? Between cigarette smoke and late-night silences, the line between annoyance and something else begins to blur - and Wei Wei realizes "temporary" might last longer than either of them planned.
