Once there were three sisters named Ray, Laila, and caitlin and they were walking and they saw three brothers named Aj, Eric, and Sam and they were smoking weed in an ally way, the girls asked to join and the guys said sure. After a couple of months of hanging out with the brothers the sisters became best friends and bought a house because when all of them were little they got abandoned by there families. The 6 of them just messed around and worked most of the time, Eric was 20 the oldest one out of all of them, he worked at a hospital, Ray was 16 and Caitlin was 19 and Aj was 17 they worked at Hot Topic, Laila was 18 and worked at an e-cig stand in the mall and Sam was 18 as well and he owned his own restaurant, But Ray knows something that no one else does. There are two worlds one is supernatural and one is the normal world, Ray doesn't tell the rest of the teens because she wants them to be safe, but when they do go through the world she has to find a way to explain what she knows

My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him. Her father left. The perfect house in the perfect neighborhood. Claire needed her father. Her mother works hard, but hard to keep the neighbors impressed. Then, her dad runs away to be a rock band roadie. Her 4.5 AP Nerdfest brother is accused of raping and murdering a girl with Special Needs. And when she and her best friend go on a runaway road trip--they end up in a truck with sex traders. Claire's world spins out of control--until it doesn't. It is 2008 and In 2008 the whole world changed. And not just because the iphone came out in 2007. It wasn't just the families of the OC Housewives that were living a reality show; so many families seemed to be all about "the house" and not "the home." Sunglasses cost hundreds of dollars and "bags" were thousands. Everything had a label that said you spent a lot of money. People went crazy buying another house, a boat, a Hummer (at 10 miles to the gallon). I distinctly remember two couples, in their late 30s, who were shopping together in Toys R Us. They had a video camera and were discussing the "rules" to this shopping trip. The rules were they had to look into the camera and say what they were buying, for who and why. And the carts had to be overflowing with toys. It was as if they had dreamed their entire lives of doing a "who cares how much it costs" shopping spree at Toys R Us for their children. Just recklessly spending on a bunch of STUFF. That was 2007. And then came 2008. But, more disturbing to me, was the impact it had on families. I think moms and dads lost themselves in providing stuff for their kids and not giving their kids time. And I saw the kids suffer because of it. So, I did a little research and a lot of observing and I wrote a mostly fictional story about an upper-middle class family in the OC. It explores (it simple terms) what was going on in the economy and what teenagers really want from their parents...Complete

THIS IS A REVISION OF A STORY I HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN. I recently reread the story, and a lot of people are uncomfortable with the age gap that I originally wrote. I wrote the story while I was still in high school, so now that I'm older rereading it, I definitely agree. However, I do still like my story and want people to enjoy it, so I felt the need to rewrite some of it.
