The Viper. Nightclaw. Powerhouse. Coldsnap. Voltara. Herman. Their names have risen to prominence across the world as star members of the Paragons, overcoming countless enemies and saving the world from numerous threats, both local and cosmic.

A rogue division of the CIA has formed a black ops regiment to carry out an international manhunt known as Operation Gravegust, with the goal of wiping out the world's superheroes with no intent to show a shred of mercy or reprieve. Through a mysterious leader, their forces, led by the field commander Joseph Vastas and others, they have already claimed the lives of many on their ruthless intrusions with the help of their leader's superweapons, and countless more remain in their crosshairs.

Compounding this threat is the rise of an anti-super hate group called the Peacemakers, who have recently emerged in The Viper's own home city of Mercury Heights, New York. They claim to be the true saviors of humanity, pushing for "normalcy" despite openly calling for the ostracization and elimination of their own city's valiant protector. With both the restless Peacemakers and the violent clutches of Operation Gravegust closing in on our beloved heroes, will they manage to pull together one more time to preserve all that they hold dear......or will the curtain fall on the Paragons' watch for good?
