If you live in Pittsburgh, you know them. The four-piece family from Québec that miraculously lifted the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey organization out of their seemingly endless black hole of disappointment. François, Emmanuelle, Alexandre, and Jacqueline. All their lives revolve around hockey.
François is the head coach and just getting on the ice after a twenty-year concussion; Emmanuelle’s the general manager and trying to settle a deal for the Pens to draft Alex; Alex is the top Entry Draft prospect and playing in the CHL; and Jacqui’s travelling with the team and leading practice.
Jacqui was expecting the first season with Alex back and playing as an official Penguin to be a walk in the park, but add in a life-changing announcement, ignorant commentators, and friends obsessed with things she knows next to nothing about, and everything gets crazy.
