TAILOR NA| ✅

In a world filled with materialistic women, Asma'u Galadima is always at the front. When she asks, she gets.

She could have whatever she wants... whoever she wants. Yet her heart yearns for the one man it shouldn't.

-

"Asma'u-"

"I did not give you permission to use my name."

He blinked, as though waking from somewhere far away.

"Almond." He swallowed "...you have almond eyes."

The words escaped before he could catch them and the colour from her face drained-fast

"What?"

"You..." He swallowed again, unable to look anywhere else, almost as though he was in a trance. "You have almond eyes."

For the first time since the argument had begun, she said nothing. She was left utterly speechless.

"They're..." His brows drew together as though he were trying to understand his own thoughts. "Captivating."

The silence that followed was heavier than every argument they'd exchanged that afternoon.
