Deep under the surface, hidden inside an ancient iceberg, a sealed cave holds something long forgotten.
When a group of scientists accidentally discovers it, they find strange worm-like organisms trapped in the ice. Believing them to be dead, they take samples back to the lab-unaware that they have just uncovered something far more dangerous than they could imagine.
Because while the samples they brought back show no signs of life... something inside the cave has already awakened.
One worm-like organism escapes. It finds its way into a nearby town. And it finds a host.
