What happened last spring is a mystery to everyone. Exept Rylan and his family. It's all too real for them, and Rylan can't let it go. What happened is the cause of his nightmares, that he wakes up screaming from. It's the reason for his depression and paranoia. And most of all, his secret. When Bennett moves to Wrendale, the last thing he expects is to want to get closer to the school freak. Rylan is a mystery to him, and the less he knows, the more he wants to open Rylan up, and find out just how innocent his mind is.
