Zhen Zhen is skipping her own boring night class when she wanders outside-ghost month is in full swing, but she doesn't care. "Ghosts don't exist," she says. That is... until she stumbles upon an old school with a sign that reads 妖怪学院, white lanterns swaying in the night.

A cheerful girl in a kimono greets her and invites her to the ghost month festival. Zhen Zhen eagerly joins-after all, it looks fun, even if it's not her school. But the moment she steps inside, her life... no, the school turns upside down. Can Zhen Zhen survive this strange school, or will the school survive her?
