I don't remember who I was before they broke me.

Some days, I'm not sure I was anyone at all.
What they left behind isn't human.

It's hunger.
It's violence.
It's a body that remembers things my mind won't-blood, screams, a soul beyond redemption.

So I do the only thing I can.

I hunt them.

The people who made me.

The ones who took everything.

I tear through them one by one, chasing silence that never comes-because no matter how many I kill... it doesn't stop.

The nightmares.

The memories that aren't mine.

The only voice that ever cut through the dark.

The only person who made me feel like I was still... something.

I watched him die.

I felt it.

So when three winged fae drag me into the light and tell me their brother is still alive-
I know they're wrong.

Until I see him.

Breathing.
Unmoving.
Trapped.

And something inside me recognizes the cage he's in.

Because it feels like mine.

Now I'm stuck between monsters and men who would kill me if they knew the truth-forced to help them wake the one person I couldn't save.

But the closer I get to him, the worse it becomes.

The magic inside me is slipping.

Twisting.

Hungry for more than revenge.

It wants control.
It wants blood.
It wants him.

And I don't know how much longer I can hold the line between what I am... and what they made me to be.

Because Katherine is still out there.

And if I don't kill her first-
I won't just lose myself.

I'll become exactly what she created.
