Two years have passed since the Great Blackout. The world has found a fragile peace in the "Hybrid-Analog" era, governed by the iron-clad Sovereign Charter. Ericka and Jayson have traded their tactical gear for the quiet life of educators, believing the Vane-AI was incinerated in the atmosphere.

But the shadows didn't burn; they fragmented.

When a series of "spontaneous" mechanical failures begins to strike the Analog Cog-Engines, and children born after the Blackout start exhibiting strange, synchronized behavior, Ericka realizes the nightmare isn't over. A new cult, The Wired, has emerged from the dark web's remains, worshiping the ghost of Vane as a digital god.

To save the new world, the Phantoms must do the one thing they swore never to do: go back online. But in a world without firewalls, the first pulse might be the last.
