"I didn't want you to see. You- You were already so worried, and had so much more going on, I didnt want to be another problem," Buck whispered and Eddie tutted at him.
"Buck, youre my best friend. My partner. My family. I'm always going to worry about you, especially with the year we've had. Shit, the last decade really.
"But I understand, okay? I'm just happy you finally told someone," he said softly and Buck blinked at the ceiling, trying to stop the tears.
