It's Maddie's fifteenth birthday and she can't wait to see her best friend, Nicole, whom she shares a birthday with. When Maddie arrives at Nicole's house, she is confused by all the police cars and learns the truth. Nicole killed herself the night before. Knowing Nicole, Maddie knows that Nicole would never do something like that. Was this a suicide or is it something more? Maddie is determined to find out the truth.
