It's been a struggle for planet Earth since the ruthless Shredder took over, molding society into a bleak and submissive way of life for him to toy with. Michelangelo Hamato - the youngest amongst his brothers - leads the resistance with April O'Neil, his brothers either missing or purposefully avoiding one another at this point. He does all that he can, but even he has a moment where he doubts his abilities and what he's fighting for. That is, until he mistakes someone for one of Shredder's soldiers.
