I softly traced his lips with my finger and then slowly leaned forward until our lips were so close that I could feel his warm breath on my skin. I leaned in a little closer and pressed my lips against his. It's been a year since the accident. A year since Jamie lost his sight and Katherine died. They say that time heals all wounds but not for Aiden. The guilt is consuming him and no matter what he does or what anybody says he can't seem to forgive himself. Aiden has always gotten along with his younger brother Liam and his best friend Jamie; they used to do everything together and shared all they're secrets. The thing is that Aiden started feeling things for Jamie that he shouldn't and then the accident happened. Now he can't even look at Jamie without feeling guilty and his brother hates him. Both families are falling apart and when Liam decides to go away with Jamie's family to see Emma, Jamie's traumatized younger sister; Aiden scrapes up his courage and offers to keep an eye on Jamie. Anyways, Charlotte switched schools because her family had to move, so now she is known as the new girl, same goes for Charlie, the new guy. Charlotte meets this really nice guy, Nate. Nate has this best friend who is the biggest jerk in school, school's player, bad boy, Aiden Throns. Nate tells Aiden that he really likes Charlotte. Aiden and Nate are like brothers, I mean, Nate was adopted by Aiden's parents, so Aiden cares about him, like he is his biological brother. Aiden thinks that Charlotte is using Nate for his brain, because Nate is a super smart guy, knowing Charlotte, she had a brain tumor, so she isn't the brightest/smartest. Aiden will do anything for Nate, so he decides that he is going to make Charlotte fall in love with him. Does he accomplish that? Will she fall in love with him, the bad boy? For the love of God, this is a very cringe book, I wrote it in 2018. It's not realistic, it's very full of "2017 cringe".
