A retelling of Beauty and The Beast, but with Esmeralda( from The Hunchback of Notre Dame) instead of Belle.
Esmeralda arrived at the "poor, provincial town" from Paris. After the population discriminate her, the hero of the Village Gaston try to help her but she become defensive at first. then she start having feeling for him as he see a gentle and kind protector on him as Gaston see her as the most beautiful and brave women he ever meet.
The women from the village get jealous of getting Gaston attention and they plot a plan to guide her in the dangerous dark forest, where she trespass a mysterious castle and end up being prisoner of a fearsome beast.
In this version, Gaston become a hero but Beast too. who will take Esmeralda affection? both men will do anything for her. in this story of far-off places, daring sword fights, magic spells, and beasts in disguise, only one can break his cursed.
