Almost Forever

Hi everyone! My name is Lily Meadows, and I know lahat tayo super excited pagdating sa Senior High School. Today is our Junior High graduation day. Ang daming tao around me some are chatting, some are busy putting on makeup, and parents who look ten times more excited than us kasi finally, their kids are marching on stage.

Ako? Honestly, I'm excited too, but not just for today. Mas excited ako for the next chapter Senior High. New school, new friends, and of course new challenges. Pero kahit gano'n, hindi ko maiiwasan yung half-happy, half-sad feeling. Happy, kasi I'm moving forward. Sad, kasi some of my closest friends will take different paths na hindi ko sila kasama. Still, I wish them all happiness and success.

My name gets called. Suot ko yung toga, I walk proudly on stage, raise my right hand, press my left hand to my chest, and bow. The applause from the crowd makes me smile parang lahat ng hirap worth it.

And just like that, one chapter closes and another begins.
June 3, 2015 the day my new adventure officially starts.
